We are so excited to release the new T-shirts for Printapalooza 5, hot off the (heat) press! Te Kowhai prints these T-shirts right here in our own studio using black cotton shirts with white ink. The proceeds go towards the continuation of our very own Te Kowhai Print Trust and of course, the much-loved event Printapalooza.

The shirts are black cotton with a white print. The size of the print is A3 and is an original design.

Printapalooza is a large format woodcut printing event held here in Whangārei, Northland. We will use an old steam roller to print enormous woodcuts. Artists from Whangārei, Te Tai Tokerau and across Aotearoa, New Zealand come together annually to print their large woodcuts during this event! We then run an auction of the fresh prints to raise funds that go toward the continuation of Printapalooza and Te Kowhai Print Trust.

Hihiaua Cultural Centre will be hosting this years Printapalooza, at their beautiful building on the Hihiaua Peninsula on the Whangarei town-basin water front.
